Prof. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro S.E., M.U.P., Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Indonesia in 1990, and Master of Urban Planning in 1993 and Ph.D in Urban & Regional Planning in 1997 from the University of Illinois Urbana - Champaign, USA.
He was appointed as Independent Commissioner of the Company under Deed Number 51 dated June 17, 2021 made before Aulia Taufani, S.H., Notary in South Jakarta.
He concurrently serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Astra Internasional Tbk, President Commissioner of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk, and President Commissioner of PT Bukalapak.com.
He was the Minister of Research and Technology from 2019 to 2021, Minister of National Development Planning from 2016 to 2019, and Minister of Finance from 2014 to 2016. He also acted as Dean of the Faculty of Economics in the University of Indonesia from 2005 to 2009 and having various roles in the Ministry of Finance from 2005 to 2014.
He has no affiliation with members of the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, nor the majority and controlling shareholders.
